Fare/Pricing Details - Round-trip airfare in Economy Class, Premium Economy and Business Premier per person from Vancouver (YVR) to Rarotonga, Cook Islands (RAR). Travel is via Los Angeles (LAX), and airfare includes transportation between Vancouver (YVR) and Los Angeles (LAX) on services operated by Air Canada (AC), WestJet (WS) or United Airlines (UA). Sectors between Rarotonga (RAR) and Aitutaki (AIT) are on services operated by Air Rarotonga (GZ). Fare includes government fees and taxes which encompass the Passenger Facility Charge of $4.50 and the September 11th Security Fee of $5.60 USD per person per enplanement in the USA to a maximum of $10.00 USD. Taxes are subject to currency exchange fluctuation and may vary from the estimated taxes shown. Additional baggage charges may apply. Payment & Ticketing - Ticket must be purchased at least 2 days prior to travel. Bookings made online must be purchased immediately with credit card. Prices are in Canadian dollars and offer is available in Canada only. Electronic tickets will be issued on all eligible routes and sent to the email address provided in the booking process. Waitlisting is not permitted. Prices are subject to change at any time prior to purchase. We want to provide you with the most competitive fare deals in a fluctuating marketplace and because of this, prices may go down. We are not able to provide rebooking with a refund of the difference in price if a lower fare becomes available. Please read all fare rules carefully before booking.
Cancellations/Changes - Ticket is fully refundable without penalty within 24 hours of ticketing when purchase is made 7 or more days before departure of the first flight in the itinerary. After the initial 24 hour period, cancellation or change fees may apply. Economy Class: Cancellation penalty is CAD300 before departure, ticket is non-refundable after departure. Changes are permitted with CAD100 change fee per adult or child. For “no-shows”, the airfare is non-refundable. Premium Economy: Cancellation penalty is CAD300 before departure, ticket is non-refundable after departure. Changes are permitted with CAD150 change fee per adult or child. For “no-shows”, no-show penalty of CAD150 applies. Business Premier: Cancellation penalty is CAD300 before departure, ticket is non-refundable after departure. Changes are permitted with CAD100 change fee per adult or child. For “no-shows”, no-show penalty of CAD150 applies. All fares: For any changes, a fare upgrade may be required subject to booking class availability. A service fee of $50 USD per person will apply to changes. The new ticket must be of equal or greater value than the original ticket. Please contact Air New Zealand if you need to make changes. Other restrictions may apply.

Minimum/Maximum stays – no minimum stay and 12 month maximum stay
Children/Infants – Economy and Premium Economy: Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 75% of the base fare in economy. Business Premier: Accompanied children 2-11 years pay 100% of the base fare in economy. All fares: Accompanied infants under two years of age not occupying a seat pay 10%. The Cook Islands International Departure Tax of NZD65.00 will show as tax code QE for travel from the Cook Islands. The International Departure Tax will apply for all passengers aged 12 and over. Children under 12 will be exempt.
